Reinvented Perception: the theme of Pitti Fragranze 2023
A journey beyond the traditional boundaries of perception, in a synthesis between senses that unites, such as inspirations, fragrances, art, craftsmanship and artifice.
Reinvented Perception is the theme of the 2023 edition of Pitti Fragranze, the Pitti Immagine salon dedicated to the world of international artistic perfumery, which will take place from 15 to 17 September, at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence.
The concept explores the psychedelic and holographic aspect of the world of fragrances, representing it with a highly colourful, fluid and interpretable advertising message. It does so through the elements of that artistic craftsmanship, such as marmorine and Venetian stucco, which 'fuse' matter and colour, which knead, amalgamate, form, demould and reform. An earthly, but also celestial reference that looks at the complexity of a universe in continuous movement, between stars, streets and galaxies that draw and then erase ever-changing dimensions and suggestions.
“Percezione Reinventata” by Pitti Fragranze stages a delicate and constantly evolving balance that connects present and future, creativity and technique, language and science, physical and virtual reality, giving life to an immersive and overwhelming experience, capable of redefining the our idea of feeling, interpreting, representing.
Symbiotic Experience: the installation and talks by Pitti Fragranze 2023
Inside the Alcatraz Space of the Leopolda Station, during the show, the theme will also be expressed in the special immersive installation Symbiotic Experience, curated by the journalist and deputy beauty editor at D la Repubblica Paola Gariboldi and the journalist and content creator Susanna Macchia.
Four digital artists and four noses combine their skills to create a multisensory journey which, by reinventing the perceptive possibilities, opens the horizons to new frontiers in the use of perfume.
Pitti Fragranze Symbiotic Experience will also inspire a series of dedicated talks, which will bring key figures from perfumery and contemporary culture to the stage.
