The scents of the Venice Carnival
This year Locherber Milano wants to celebrate the festival of masks by honoring the Italian capital of Carnival: Venice with a special perfume.
VENETIÆ is a complex and elaborate fragrance, which is inspired by the bright colors, the scents of flowers and the voices that characterize this period of celebrations.
The iodine and citrus notes such as bergamot and lemon with which it opens give it a fresh touch that evolves into floral aromas of lavender and Mediterranean aromas including myrtle and seaweed.
The most virile part, however, is identified in the closing part, where we can smell woody and musky essences.
The “Venetian briccole”
This is not "just" a new fragrance inspired by the city of Venice but it is a real piece of Venetian history and culture.
One of the oldest traditions becomes a rare and refined detail that embellishes the product: from the recovery of "briccole” (the poles that delimit the navigable canals and regulate maritime traffic) is the birth of the new T2 cap whose lines are inspired by the ancient classic shelled cube capitals.
These poles, generally made of oak wood, immersed for years in the salty waters of the lagoon, suffer the erosion of the shipworm, a mollusc that feeds on wood.
But it is precisely the attacks of the shipworms that make the "briccole" an original material, which when worked by expert hands gives life to authentic masterpieces.
The new Briccole cap is an original detail which, together with the elegant hand-painted blue glass bottle, makes this perfume unique.
The VENETIÆ line by Locherber, in addition to the fragrance, includes:
- essence diffusers with wands (formats from 250 to 5000 ml) with or without LED base;
- spray essence diffusers;
- scented candle;
- silicone plate (for cars or cabinets);
- linen bag with Sicilian sea salt (for drawers and wardrobes).
