To respond to this unusual and surprising request, perfumer Jacques Cavallier invented L'Eau d'Issey. More than a perfume, it was the first expression of a completely new olfactory category: aquatic fragrances. Thanks to an overdose of Calone, a synthetic molecule, one could feel the intoxicating gush of almost salty water on the skin.
A woman's skin, symbolized by white, vaporous and sensual petals. It happened in 1992. Three years later, a masculine essence, like a flood of woody spices, made its appearance. In a clash of the elements, water and wood merge in this Eau de Toilette Intense that explores the power of masculinity in its most refined form. The humidity of the water contrasts with the dry and vibrant wood of the cedar to the point that its strength acquires movement and fluidity.
