Esxence Special: Jean-Claude Ellena and Lucien Ferrero with Anthologie

After more than forty years, the Master Perfumers Jean-Claude Ellena and Lucien Ferrero, both independent noses, return to work together on an extraordinary project: the joint creation of two new fragrances, C'est.Mutine and C'est.Rebelle, which represent the pleasure of reliving the Belle Parfumerie, which both Masters contributed to building. The entire collection of Maestro Lucien Ferrero is presented at Esxence, nourished by the new life that the renewed partnership with his friend and colleague Jean-Claude Ellena brings with it, is transformed taking the name of Anthologie by Lucien Ferrero, which he will also present in absolute world premiere, three new raw materials created by Lucien Ferrero together with Accords et Parfums. These are three alcoholates obtained from orange blossom, jasmine and rose concretes, raw materials capable of giving an aura of elegance and charm characteristic of the fragrances of the past. Lucien Ferrero was born in 1946 in Grasse. After studying perfumery in Geneva, she developed her creative skills in Paris before joining the Grasse-based company, Expressions Parfumées. He is passionate about natural perfumes and shares his love for the Provence region, a source of olfactory emotions and memories. During his 46-year career he created approximately 50,000 compositions. We meet him at Esxence, the fair dedicated to high niche perfumery fragrances which was held in Milan at Il Mico.

To give shape to this futuristic creative energy, it seemed natural to us to have to rethink the image of the Lucien Ferrero line.

Anthologie by Lucien Ferrero presents itself at Esxence with a contemporary packaging made of rough and material paper, FSC™ certified containing post-consumer recycled 40% and produced in compliance with rigorous environmental standards, and a refined and minimalist bottle. Love continues to be the common thread: a love that by its nature is perceived through all the senses and for this reason, with the patronage of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, the idea of using the Braille language to provide a translation that is as universal as possible.

The re-packaging proposed at Esxence will involve the entire collection of fragrances: Par amour pour Elle, Par amour pour Lui, Seringa Blanc, Sakura Imperial, Harmonie Pastorale, Ce n'est pas un Patchouly and in addition the two new fragrances created together to Jean-Claude Ellena, C'est.Mutine and C'est.Rebelle.

Among the novelties of Esxence we also find perfumes SALUM. The sea in a form never known before is the protagonist of the new SALUM perfume line, which interprets marine fragrances in an unexpected way, offering a new olfactory horizon for one of the most loved pyramids in perfumery.

Sea, therefore, deseasonalized, far from the classic summer and sparkling sea; perfumes created with new raw materials and with unexpected notes, different from the usual marine fragrances.
