Urban Decay Naked heat palette review
Today we have in ink the review of one of the most talked about palettes of the period! The latest release from the Californian brand Urban Decay and the latest addition to the ''Naked family'', their best-selling palettes where each one collects eyeshadows combined with each other in different shades and textures. The previous one, released in 2015, was the Smoky which combined 12 shades of grey.
The concept, this time, is fire as the name Heat suggests. In stores since last August, it is continuing to be popular on the web even now, in autumn, with its warm and coppery colors perfect for this season too.
The palette's packaging is made of rigid and sturdy plastic with a large mirror and magnetic closure, plus a double brush; elements that make it comfortable and practical to carry in a suitcase or bag. The palette contains 12 eyeshadows of the highest quality and pigmentation, all blendable and combinable with each other to create light day looks but also more intense evening looks.
The 12 eyeshadows Urban Decay are divided into:
7 matte colors (Chaser, Sauced, Low Blow, He Devil, Cayenne, En Fuego, Ashes)1 satin (Ounce)4 shimmer (Lumbre, Dirty Talk, Scorched, Ember)
The opaque colors, perfectly blendable and intense, are perfect for giving depth to the crease of the eye or even for marking the entire eyelid for a stronger effect. The shimmers, which I recommend using with a wet brush, are vibrant and excellent for giving light to a bold eye make-up, while the single satin color acts as a wildcard for illuminating the arch or the internal corner but also for creating a versatile look and quickly spreading it on the eyelid and then creating a little shadow towards the outer corner with one of the mattes.
In conclusion, I consider this Urban Decay palette amazing for highlighting blue eyes by creating contrast with intense reds, as well as for brown eyes by playing with the rusty shades that recall them.
Absolutely recommended for travelers looking for a resistant, complete and very practical palette!
