How to apply bronzer. Tips and advice
As summer approaches, for some years now, the need to limit the use of make up has been felt more and more. So here are some tips to know how to apply bronzer.
The most desired effect at this time of year is precisely the "sun-kissed" effect, which prefers a product that leaves the skin more natural and illuminated to foundation.
Bronzer is the must-have for summer make-up: a product capable of illuminating and enhancing the healthy appearance of the skin at the same time. It can therefore be used both to make the complexion of the face more lively, emphasizing the "sunkissed" appearance, and for more complicated make-up (suitable for ceremonies or special events) to create contouring, thanks to the light-dark contrast.
There are various types on the market, with different colors and formulas. In fact, it exists in a creamy, gel, liquid version but also in stick form and all can be applied either with a brush or with a moistened sponge. The important thing is to always blend the product well, without creating sharp lines, and choose the right shade based on your skin tone. When we choose a bronzer it is always a good idea to choose a shade that is not 2 tones higher than the skin tone, and moreover, when applying it, we must pay attention to the quantity of product: it is always better to start with a little product and add a little to the time, to avoid stains and discolouration.
In addition to the various textures, the bronzer it is also available in a matte or shimmer version: the first is opaque, more suitable for creating shadow areas on the face, preferable when the skin is not yet completely tanned, while the second is perfect in the height of summer , to emphasize the tan.
In general, the main rule is therefore: if we want to warm up the complexion and color of the face, it is better to prefer warmer tones, tending towards orange, perhaps with a glittery effect; if instead we want to sculpt and define the volumes of the face by doing a little contouring, it is better to choose colder shades, preferably opaque.
Without forgetting, however, that the right color must take into account the starting color of the complexion! In fact, each complexion has a more suitable color than another. For example, for very light skin, never risk too intense browns; a light brown to beige is more than enough to create a good contouring. It is on darker skin, however, that you can risk a little more.

A fundamental point is where to apply the bronzer. Whether to create a contouring or for a "sunkissed" effect, let's not forget that it must always be blended.
For what concern contouring the points where the bronzer should be applied are the temples, under the cheekbones, in the center of the nose and under the jaw. These are general points, which obviously need to be adapted depending on the face. While to warm up the face, the ideal points are in the center of the forehead, above the cheekbones, on the nose and a little in the center of the chin to recreate that always tanned effect that is so popular.
