All the colors of the clay mask
Every woman has done a facial mask at least once, so today the watchword is mask, in particular the options that the clay mask reserves for our facial beauty.
Clay is a component initially in powder form, which once combined with water becomes creamy in consistency and suitable for application. There are different types of clay: white clay, together with green clay, is the most used in both phytotherapy and cosmetics. White clay, otherwise called kaolin, is the most delicate of all and aims to purify the skin thanks to the large quantity of minerals present in this natural remedy.
A white clay mask is ideal for purifying the skin of the face and giving the epidermis a smooth and luminous appearance. Generally the application is done once a week and the mask can be made directly at home using a few simple ingredients.
How to apply clay mask
A small bowl is sufficient in which to mix a few spoonfuls of clay and water in a 50/100 proportion. Work the cream well until it becomes dense and homogeneous, then add a few drops of essential oil to taste. Apply the clay mask to your face and leave to act for 15 minutes, then rinse with plenty of warm water.
Green clay is stronger and more aggressive than the first, it is more grainy and therefore more suitable for an exfoliating and purifying action such as the treatment of acneic or combination skin, the green color derives from the active ingredients of algae with absorbent power .
Finally, pink clay is the most delicate and richest in trace elements which, in addition to purifying and disinfecting, hydrates and softens even the most sensitive skin.
Always remember to apply a good moisturizing cream after face mask, your skin will thank you!
