Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2024: Initiatives and special projects to fully enjoy the experience at the fair

The global cosmetics industry is worth 427 billion dollars, according to the 2023-2027 beauty report by the analysis company McKinsey & Company: a turnover destined to increase by 6% annually, reaching 580 billion in 2027. In this highly competitive scenario, the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna's role becomes fundamental in supporting companies and operators in business development.
Now in its 55th edition, the global reference event for companies and operators in the cosmetics industry is a unique kaleidoscope in the world to discover how the sector is transforming, thanks to the ability to simultaneously offer a wealth of excellent exhibitions, with the most interesting innovations from every country in the world, and moments of quality training, thanks to the contribution of prestigious experts and opinion leaders. Furthermore, digital services specific to the needs of individual operators and the know-how of a highly qualified team help stakeholders to increase commercial relationships and new projects.

The 2024 edition is preparing to be an unmissable experience for suppliers, producers, brand owners, buyers, distributors, retailers and operators interested in new solutions for the development of their activities, thanks to the optimization of access dates in line with the growing interaction between distribution channels. 

The fair will take place from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th March, with all pavilions opening at the same time from Thursday 21st March. Cosmopack, dedicated to the supply chain, and Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics, a salon that hosts companies and retail operators for the Perfumery and Cosmetics sector, will be operational for three days until Saturday 23 March. The professional channel of Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon will open on Thursday 21st, optimizing networking activities and commercial exchanges also with professionals from other sectors, and will close on Sunday 24th March.
The sales campaign for the exhibition spaces has achieved considerable success: the March event is preparing to once again be sold out, and over 3,000 companies from more than 60 countries are expected. 

The international nature of the exhibition offer has also been confirmed, with more than 20 national collective exhibitions already confirmed. To encourage the development of the event on a global level, the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ICE - Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies is fundamental. For the March 2024 edition, thanks to the support of the ICE offices abroad, a delegation of buyers from 47 countries will be present in Bologna, with particular attention to emerging markets.

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will be able to count on the collaboration with Cosmetica Italia - National Association of Cosmetic Companies. The support of national trade associations, such as CNA - National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises, CONFARTIGIANATO and CAMERA ITALIANA DELL'ACCONCIATURA, will be fundamental for the involvement of beauticians and hairdressers in Bologna. Thanks to initiatives in partnership with industry associations and media partners, the incoming activities of Italian operators will be encouraged, in particular distributors for professional channels and the main perfumery chains. 

The dense network of collaborations launched for the March event of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna goes hand in hand with the activation of the ticket office on the official website of the event, www.cosmoprof.com, considerably earlier than previous editions.
